Debra Davenport, PhD is CEO of The Davenport Companies, Inc. and heads the corporation's three divisions: DavenportFolio, a Certified Professional Mentor firm; Davenport Media, a radio and television production company; and Debra Davenport Couture, a modern, sophisticated fashion line slated for debut in 2007.

Davenport is a radio personality, commercial actor, spokesperson, and nationally syndicated columnist. As a professional stylist and former senior editor of fashion and style for Affluent Magazine, Davenport is well-versed in all areas of fashion and trends. Her professional career mentoring executives and entrepreneurs includes enhancing and building her clients' visual image and brand.

Davenport holds a PhD in communication and education, and a masters degree in communication arts. She serves on the faculties of Loyola Marymount University, National University and Argosy University, and she is currently a visiting scholar at Capella University.

Diane has been working in the beauty and fashion industry for over two decades. For the last 17 of those years, she has built a thriving freelance makeup, hair and wardrobe styling business.

After stints in New York and Seattle, Diane returned to her hometown ten years ago. From her Phoenix base, she continues to travel frequently for work, including jaunts to the Bahamas, Mexico, Los Angeles and the Pacific Northwest.

Her clients have ranged from Nike to Gucci, Antonio Banderas to Brooke Burke, and Eddie Bauer to Elle Magazine. She's plied her trade everywhere from the Southwestern desert to the tents at Bryant Park during New York's Fashion Week.

In recent years her skills have broadened to include fashion and beauty editing for several prominent local, national and international publications, such as Arizona Foothills Magazine, where she is able to blend her love of writing, with her eye for fashion.

In addition to working on print and commercial projects, Diane has sought to add to her skills and further explore her love of fashion by helping to coordinate and style several local runway shows and fundraising events, including "Kierland Lives Fashion" and Saks Fifth Avenue's "Key to The Cure" for breast cancer awareness.

In March 2007, Diane fulfilled a life-long dream and opened Glam Lounge, a beauty apothecary and day spa. Her goal with the boutique is to bring personalized attention to each and every customer through only licensed beauty professionals, and offer amazing, unique products that have been tested and approved by her personally.
